Teen Therapy + Parent Coaching in Texas
When ADHD, anxiety, or school stress takes over, it affects the whole family. I help teens feel calmer, more confident, and better able to handle life's challenges — while giving parents practical tools that reduce conflict and rebuild connection at home.
Virtual sessions available across Texas.
Most of the families I work with are living some version of this.
Your teen is incredibly smart — but homework somehow turns into a nightly battle.
They seem perfectly fine at school… then completely fall apart once they get home.
You feel like you're walking on eggshells in your own house.
Every conversation somehow becomes an argument.
Your teen says "I'm fine," but you know they aren't.
You've read the books, downloaded the apps, and still feel stuck.
If you're nodding your head, you're not alone — and things can get better.
Real change usually looks quieter than people expect — and it shows up in the small, everyday moments.
Small changes each week create meaningful change over time.
How I help
Real change happens when your teen has their own support — and you have practical tools that work at home.
Teen Therapy
Helping your teen develop confidence, emotional regulation, resilience, and practical ADHD skills they can actually use in school, friendships, and family life.
Parent Coaching
Helping you understand what's underneath the behavior — and giving you practical tools that actually work in the hard moments at home.
A simple, low-pressure path from your first message to real progress at home.
We'll talk about what's been happening, answer your questions, and figure out together whether we're a good fit.
Every teen and every family is different. We'll build a plan around your family's goals — not a generic protocol.
Small consistent changes lead to calmer homes, stronger relationships, and more confident teens.
About Julio

I've spent years helping teens who look perfectly fine on the outside while quietly struggling with anxiety, ADHD, perfectionism, or big emotions they don't know what to do with.
I've also worked with parents who are doing everything they can — and still wonder if they're helping in the right way.
My approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on helping the whole family — not just the teen sitting in the session. You'll always understand what we're working toward and why.

Common themes I hear from the families I work with.
“Our evenings finally feel peaceful again.”
“I understand my teen instead of feeling confused.”
“We argue less and connect more.”
“My teen actually uses the coping skills.”
“I don't feel alone in this anymore.”
“Mornings don't start with a fight now.”
These reflect common themes shared by families while protecting every client's confidentiality. They are not individual testimonials.
You don't have to wait for a crisis. If stress, mood, or focus is getting in the way of school, sleep, friendships, or how they treat the people they love — that's reason enough to talk to someone.
That's really common. Most teens start off nervous, skeptical, or sure it won't help. My first job is to make the process feel less awkward and more doable than they expected. We start where they are, not where they're 'supposed' to be.
You're not alone in that. A lot of families I work with have been to someone before. We'll talk honestly about what didn't work last time so we can do something different — not just repeat the same experience.
As involved as it needs to be. Your teen gets their own private space, and you get your own parent coaching. When it helps, we bring things together — but only when it makes sense for your family.
When it's helpful and you're on board, yes. With your written consent, I can coordinate with schools, tutors, or other providers so everyone is rowing in the same direction.
Often it's a mix, and the outside behavior can look the same either way. Part of our early work is helping you and your teen understand what's actually driving the struggle — so the plan we build fits the real picture.
Yes. Therapy doesn't replace medication if that's part of your teen's plan, but it gives them practical tools for focus, emotion regulation, and follow-through — and gives you a clearer picture of what's actually going on.
Most families start noticing real shifts within the first three to six months. We check in along the way, and you're always in the driver's seat about pace and direction.
Yes — sessions are virtual and available across Texas, which makes it a lot easier for busy teens and parents to show up consistently.
I'm a private-pay practice, but I can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
If your family has been stuck in the same cycle of worry, conflict, or overwhelm, let's talk. A free 15-minute consultation is simply a chance to see if working together feels like the right next step. No pressure. No commitment. Just a conversation.
You'll usually hear back within one business day.
